Hi,

sorry … again a question:

“There is a special possibility which allows to redirect logs produced by
all plugins which were installed manually to the special “dune_plugin_logs”
folder. This folder should be located at the top-level of the “main”
storage device. Normally, all logs are written to some temporary folder not
accessible from the outside. If “dune_plugin_logs” exists all logs from the
non-built-in plugins will be written to this folder.”

I have to create dune_plugin_logs, but where? What is the “main” storage device?

Hi again,

found a different solution: After mounting a directory via NFS from the main dune GUI I found my NAS:

/tmp/mnt/network/0/install

and was able to put the log and xml there.

Had to rename dpc.xml to dpc_xml.log.

The plex server is the most recent one (Version 0.9.15.2) running on a synology NAS. And it is working with other clients: Dreamplex plugin on enigma2, Rasplex, IOS, etc.

Hi,

what is recommended to use? SMB or NFS?

I have both activated. The Emplexer was setup with NFS.

I am asking because I have SMB setup and it does not work for all libraries I have here. Luckily the most important library Bluray works. For other libraries (Movies as single streams e.g., high count) it doesn’t work. It says in this case “Operation exceeded”. This happens also for smaller libraries I have.

I will provide the log later.

Your NAS should already have WOL build in. Otherwise it wouldn’t be to useful as a NAS.

DPC already sends a WOL request to your PMS. Function was gracefully added after it was requested by a friendly DPC user :). If your PMS is running on your NAS then you should be good to go.

Hi All, I tried to use the last version of DPC but after the install I could not set the plex address at all, if I click to PLEX address it wait for a second and nothing changed.
I tried to use version 1.08 set the correct address manually and DPC works fine but I would like to use the latest version.
Any suggestion?

v1_094 didn’t work from scratch for me either, it was not in respect to the plex address but the connections are not editable or only the first one. I did use v1_093 and it worked for me.

Hi Jmpr,

I use the black skin for the dune player. I want to exchange the bg.jpg with the one which is used in plex, when using background art. I wanted to have this background which is in brown colors and shows the theater seats. Where can I get this picture? Is it part of the client or does the server send this picture? I searched the internet for pictures but found nothing which satisfied me.

Try in 1_093 set IP manually and then upgrade to 1_094 (without delete old)

It’s server picture. http://plex_ip:32400/:/resources/movie-fanart.jpg
But if you will install 094 it would be possible manage background from DPC Setup

Is it possible to start dpc via a virtual media_url= link in a dune_folder.txt? Or the only option is to start it from sources or favorites?

I 've had to reinstall my NAS from scratch, and so my PLEX. Now everything is working right but in DPC the list of actors is without pictures. DPC is marked to show thumbnails but there’s no download. Is there any switch or function to activate in Plex Media Server?

As I remember it depends on your scanner.
