Hi all!
I have install the Dune plugin (dpc) and it seems wonderful this plugin.
But i ran into some trouble,

I got som info when to start the Dpc

Then when i want to watch a movie..

What have i missed ?

Go to Setup -> applications -> DPC setup -> connections and set your connections

Yes I think so. It took me a while too and I found out the path in connection settings has to be exactly the same as the path when connecting in real. Check capital letters too.

Today I cannot sign in to Plex Account by DPC app in the set up section but I can sign in by my iPhone.
Is there anything wrong??

hi jmper, fantastic app and many thanks for putting time and effort in making it work with the dune players. the app works fine for me with one exception, similar to the issue above. i cant sign into my plex account using my credentials, i get an error message login and password are incorrect. i know I’ve got the correct details as it works on all my other clients and i logged in here as well but it just doesn’t work on the dpc. not a big issue but just wanted to mention it.

Finally switched from emplexer to DPC, and it’s much better! Thank you, jmper!
However there are some small convenient things, that I’m missing, so maybe they could be added / changed?

  1. Pop-up menus on library sections with all filters. E.g., I set the default filter for TV as Unwatched, and turned off all other, so from the Libraries I could get to TV Shows in one click. But if I want to see All, or Recently Added or whatever, I need to go to settings and add those filters back. In emplexer I could just click pop-up menu and see all available filters.
  2. When episode playback is finished and you get back to the episode list, the one you’ve just watched is still there, until you refresh the page. Could it be auto refreshed upon returning from playback?
  3. In VOD playback info banner for episode shows summary for the whole TV show, not the current episode. Could it be fixed?

Everything else is working great!

PS Is there any way to use custom background art for library sections? Maybe by putting some .jpg with special name in the library’s folder?
PPS I’m using version 1.3a, is it the current one?

Hi Jmper, I just would like thank you for the great ap!. Please keep up the project alive and updated. By the way it is pretty hard to follow the subject and the development in the russuan forum thru translater kindly keep us updated in here as well :wink:

Hello, try to delete dpc from devices thought web browser and login again on your dune

I like your idea with pop-up filters, I would do it in next product. Also, of course, I’m going to improve issue with refresh screens.
Dune API give me possibilities show only summary info, not for each episodes… but I’m thinking about workaround.
You can change libraries background by dpc setup. you need create folder dpc_custom_icons on “main” dune drive (normaly it’s flashdrive or first hdd on dune) and save here yours jpg backgrounds files.

Hi! I’m trying keep it :slight_smile: Now I’m working on 3-d version of next app. As I said it wouldn’t be next version of dpc. It would be next app. Preliminary name next app is Duplex. It will able to use servers not only in local net and some more futures.

Emplexer was showing the episode summary, not the show. I’ve tried to find out, how it was done, but my php knowledge is pretty basic and emplexer code is somehow messy, so no luck yet :frowning:

I don’t have a disk in my dune, could I put it somewhere on system storage? Nevermind, I’ve found it :slight_smile:
