i was getting the same error, then I found out my plex server was not enabled :rolleyes:

Yep, but now i see that when you choose NFS it wants to make a connection to every single section you create on plex. For me that means editting 16 fields of NFS. So I decided to go back to my AppleTV for now as this is all way to much work to get something simple like this going, unfortunately Hopefully one day newloran2 can fix it without the hassle to have to set every section in NFS (typing the paths on a dune remote is a bit to much ;))

unfortunately there is no way to know automatically which server your files are, I can only do this automatically if the plex on the same machine.
For that really need human intervention, but I'll come up with a way to be able to edit the data externally :).
Do not know if you know, but a way to edit text easier at Dune is push the blue button on the remote in a text box, it makes the virtual keyboard is shown (far from ideal but it improves a bit).

if any one have issues with this version when play files that played before (mkv/avi/mp4/mov) plz report, i will download a bluray iso and m2ts to make better tests.

m2ts plays ok but has a few Bugs.

it didnt work to shut of the subtitles in earlier versions either. it can be shut of in "normal" dune.

Hi. I have not experimented with NFS support (my NAS can do it) as I am not clear what it does for me versus SMB (enable Blu-Ray ISO/BDMV support??). But maybe this can help you re the remote.

If you have an Android device (and iOS Apple device as well I assume, I see an app there but have only used Android) there is an official remote control app by the Dune company that supports using the Android keyboard on your phone/tablet that worked quite well when I set up emplexer :) Much easier than using the Dune remote for text entry!!

I am happy to test and report bugs! I just have no joy with telling my friends, they are too cheap to have a Dune :) I am the only one of them to be such a "pioneer" with a "high end" media streamer device. Before my Dune HD Smart D1 I had (still have, only good for SD though) a Xiova CS505 for streaming. Before that just a home brew HTPC with a Sigma MPEG2 card and ATI card for Divx and a DVD-ROM for *many* years (got tired of it being ugly). Other friends now just use DLNA and PS3 or XBOX360 or Microsoft WHS and Media Center but none are using 24x7 NAS storage for media. That is why I want to use Plex everywhere I can, to view all content from my 800 devices wherever and whenever I likes (PC, Mac, iPod Touch, Android phones, Android tablet, Roku, Samsung TV, Samsung Blu-Ray deck, and now finally the Dune).

I have not had a chance to try and reinstall everything. But here is the log file (attached) from the last point in my post after all that I had done that I found on my SD card. I copied it earlier. I see the HTTP 404 error in there so hopefully the rest around it will make more sense to you. Please let me know if you can use anything else and much thanks!

I have not had a chance to try and "redo" my setup on the Dune and will hopefully have a chance to redo that this weekend with whatever the latest version is. there is no visible diferences on emplexer when it use nfs or smb, in both cases the gains as the same (much more speed to start play back, iso support, video folder structures supported (like dvd)), just use whichever is easyest.

Your log was very revealing, I found the problem, but still did not fix.
About version numbers, the 20mxm1 ask about that for a long time :), after this weekend I began to think that it is really necessary.
I'm working on a solution to this, is not goes wrong the next update will be versioned.

I have changed the background to black, personally I like the icons, now I want to change the Blue to orange.

Plex pushed out a new version of PMS. I will probably upgrade this weekend and try it all over again to see what happens in the meantime.

It is too bad that the new more powerful Dune players coming soon can not do full Blu-ray menus from ISO/BDMV because of Cineva DRM nonsense. Otherwise I would upgrade but I dislike having features VANISH, features supposed to get better!!
