Duplicate media file removal

Hello Forum,

Am new to this forum and just installed 9.5 on a Mac Mini dedicated to our home theater system. Set up went smoothly and my iTunes library is up and running. Plex updated from the iTunes library but I have a number of duplicate files after I updated a series metaX file. No dupes in iTunes but dupes showing up in Plex. Have searched but can not find any method to delete files from the Media Server or Plex directly. Did a Plex media server update and restarted the Mac Mini, still have the dupes showing up. Any recommendation to fix this would be appreciated.
