I just reinstall my plex server on my synology nas, since i want to do a clean install since the nas was going to reuse for something else, but that has create a problem with the plex interface on the webside since i have to rematch some of the movies and some of the movies has be put in as duplicate movies, but the problem is now, when i am under my movies, i can see on the Icon that it has duplicate movies in they folders, except if i press show info on every movies and that is a lot of work, i can even put up a filter that show only duplicate movies, witch as i remember in the old days, was show on the icon in the main pic of the movie, so is there anyway this can be fix or do i need to go a press everyone to see if there is duplicate movies ?, also if you switch to folder in the web, there is no way its easy to scroll down, and a 1500 movies copy from you living room dvd and blue ray is going to take a long time to go into each folder to see if there are duplicates, was there a reason that you remove it so you can see duplicates ?
One time long ago, there was a
Server Version#: 1.42.1.10054
Player Version#: webbrowser

Stop using the folder view. You can’t do everything that way. Leave it in the normal movie view. There you should see the duplicate filter for the entire library.
Movies should be named: Movie Title (Year of release).file ext and placed in their own folder inside your Movie library folder.
E.G. Movies/Bird On A Wire (1990)/Bird On A Wire (1990).mkv Movies/A Working Man (2025)/A Working Man (2025).mkv
Things to avoid are incorrect spellings, spaces that are not spaces, dashes that are not dashes etc.
Also, Movies that were released in different regions under two different titles can sometimes be renamed to the second title, making it hard to find in your library sometimes.
E.G. The Magnificent Showman (1964)- Circus World (1964)
I highly recommend using FileBot to automatically rename and organise your files for you. It is well worth the money in IMHO.
