Hello,
I have numbers of movies showing two posters in my library. There are no duplicate files on the server. Have tried the usual stuff such as optomizing library etc. When clicking on the duplicate posters one does not show the movie summarty and the other does but both posters point to the same file on the server and there doe snot appear to be a mthod to just remove the poster art in the library.
Help needed please!
Check out the label below those posters.
I suspect one shows the movie name and year of release while the other shows the movie name and e.g. “1 item”.

If so, what you see is “inline collections”.
Here’s a support article explaining how to use collections (but also how to disable/hide them if they get in the way).

Collections can be used to organize movies e.g. by franchise – in your library settings you can define if/how those collections should show within your library (not at all, show only the collection or show the collection and its items).
Probably you had checked the advanced setting “Use collection info from The Movie Database” at some point when setting up this library (default is unchecked). This can result in a number of single-item collections (e.g. if you only have “Iron Man” but not “Iron Man 2” and “Iron Man 3”).
