Hello,
Here’s my problem: I have duplicates in a lot of filters, for example, actors, but is same for all filters:
A + appears during the search:
I have the same problem when adding certain films, which are also not detected as duplicates.
I’ve run several database optimizations without success.
Thanks in advance.
You have probably different metadata agents set for some of your libraries. i.e. some of them seem to still use the deprecated legacy agents.
I recommend you to use only the modern agents in all libraries.
“Plex Movies” for movie-type libraries,
“Plex Series” for tv show-type libraries.
Thank you for your reply.
I don’t think I’ve changed that. I’m not sure where to look.
For films :
For Series:
Thanks in advance.
Click on the “+1” search results. It should show you where those results are stored.
Are they in different libraries? Or maybe even on different servers?
Same server, same libraries :
I don’t understand.
Have you refreshed the metadata of this movie?
Try to perform the in-depth repair of the server database.
Either manually, as shown in here https://support.plex.tv/articles/repair-a-corrupted-database/
or more comfortably and thoroughly using this script GitHub - ChuckPa/DBRepair: Database repair utility for Plex Media Server databases
I’ll try it and get back to you.
Thanks!
I tested refreshing the metadata on a few movies, and it did indeed fix the problem. So I did the same thing on the entire library. That fixed my problem. I still lost the genre and content classification for 500/600 movies. But nothing serious.
Thanks, anyway, I should have thought of that.
