For the most part the Dutch translation is just fine. Only the "On Deck" tab is translated to "Recent Bekeken" (which translates to "Recently Watched". So this just doesn't cover it completely. I have to think about a Dutch translation for "On Deck", but in the meantime;
Where can I request a change of this translation?
And for the developers; If you need any help translating other parts / newer functions in Dutch, just let me know.

Thank you. I've added two possible translations, either "Dashboard" (that's actually English too, but used in Dutch too) or "Overzicht"... Don't know what happens next ;-)

Übersicht? I don't think that this exactly matches OnDeck?
Overzicht translates to Summary... Isn't that what OnDeck is (a little bit?).. It's a summary of the Plex Server, whats happening lately...
It's hard to find a good translation. But "Recent Gekeken" (Recently Watched) is wrong for sure, cause thats just a part of OnDeck...What the hell is OnDeck anyways? It's a strange naming convention, for me. Or is it some English saying that I'm missing? I would have called it Dashboard to begin with, to be honest... (btw, I know it's a plex thing, I'm not ranting on you guys ;-) )
If we can't find any Dutch word, we might as well just revert back to OnDeck...

I actually looked up the other translations (on the languages I understand), and the German translation is Aktuell, which doesn't really translate back to English, but means something like "What's happening currently".. That would be a good one too. It's "Actueel" in Dutch... I actually like it ;-)
The French one (En Course) roughly translates to In Progress.. Don't like that one either....

POT is the extension/ending of the file collecting all the strings to be translated. Basically the database that needs localization... you can find it in /assets/locales.
The translated versions are the PO files, found in /assest/locales/.

I did the translation. I had a particular problem with "on deck". According to me "on deck" shows tv shows and movies you are in the process of watching, So a movie you haven't watched completely or a tv series where not all episodes have been watched. So hence "recent bekeken" (but not finished). "Wordt gekeken" sounds too much like you are watching something at that moment. Anyway feel free to add/vote. That is what the getlocalization site allows you to do. Meanwhile you can change the pot file for your own purposes.
So what about "Verder kijken" ? Or just use "On Deck", like the IOS and Android Plex-apps.
To me "On Deck" isn't just about stuff you are in the "process of watching". It's about stuff you watched, stuff recently added and stuff recently released. So "Actueel" would be a better translation...
"Verder kijken" doesn't quite cover it either (IMHO)...
If I want to have my own translation, which file do I edit? This one:

Yes... but then you have to also compile it into the MO format, which is read in by python's localisation support.
poedit, is the tool i used. it generates the mo. BTW, i wasn't happy with "Recent bekeken" either, but it was the best i could think of at that moment. And more importantly, I translated it so my children could use a dutch interface and then i uploaded the translation.
So be my guest and change it in whatever you think is best.

Done. I noticed that it was "Deels gekeken" rather than "Recent gekeken" in getlocalization and even on my aTV that I haven't updated in a while, so I think I already changed it somewhere along the line...
Okay, so yesterday I found out that if I change the translation for On Deck that it changes both in the the top menu but also in the lower menu (which also contains Recently added, recently aired, etc).
Would it be possible to split those? Because in the lower menu (where the covers are) it's offcourse "Deels Gekeken" (partly viewed), so that original translation is correct. But I would like the top menu to have a different name.

or : 'Nog te kijken of afkijken'
I think I would prefer the first.
As far as I understand, the on deck shows the following:
- Movies you were watching, but didn't finish
- TV shows you were watching, but didn't finish
- The next tv-show episode of the shows you're watching.
So, it's in other words a queue of video files PMS thinks you'd want to watch.
Ah, the FAQ says the following about On Deck:
For a movie section, On Deck displays movies that were started, but not finished, so they're "in progress", while Recently Added displays movies that you recently added to the section (but aren't also in progress or already completed).
For a TV section, things get even more interesting. Recently Added is pretty much the same, so that's easy. But On Deck is where things get really smart. If you stopped in the middle of the episode, then that one will be there because it's in progress. If you recently finished s03e17 of a series, then On Deck is going to have s03e18 listed since that's the next one in line and it's pretty likely that you might be interested in watching it. The content is also ordered based on what you most recently accessed.
So, taken together, it's very likely that if you ask the question "what do I want to watch?", the Shelf is going to have the answer for you!
So, something like 'Te kijken' or 'Wat te kijken' could be a translation for this functionality.
In the meantime, please revert to 'On Deck'.
Maybe you could use "Aan het kijken"?

That’s the one I’d prefer actually, if I had my UI in Dutch (which I don’t, for exactly this reason, that I hate localizations that are off).

Good point. However, from the users perspective, I guess "In de pijplijn" sounds a bit vague. How about something like "Onbekeken", "Volgend item" of "Onbekeken afleveringen"?
