DVB-T2 pci-e tuner card not scanning correctly

Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488

I’m trying to set up Plex DVR on a Win7 box with a Blackgold 3620 DVB-T2 (terrestrial antenna) PCIe card.

Unfortunately PMS detects this as a Cable tuner. When I run the channel scan it doesn’t detect any channels.

The tuner card works perfectly under Windows Media Center.

Any suggestions on how I can get PMS to correctly identify this as a T2 receiver and then scan the correct channels?

I am using a usb tuner via a tvheadend server on a nuc libreelec box, using tvhproxy in docker.

(yes I know convaluted) My Plex server thinks its a Cable tuner. But if you go to the next page & put in your postcode? or zipcode mine picks up the channels.

Thanks for the hint bubblegum, but unfortunately the ‘continue’ button is disabled so I can’t continue to the next screen. Maybe an earlier version of PMS would allow me to do this?

On the page before, even if the tuner is detected, can you add the device manually, ie ip address with port. 5004?

No luck. Not sure about the port number. netstat hasn’t shown up any ports that look like the tuner card.

I think the port 5004, was from my setup. Sorry

Hopefully this will be sorted out for you with an update. I don’t think you are the only one with this problem
