I had a problem with my Plex suddenly starting to crash a few minutes after it had been started up. I tried multiple things, including updating from 1.7.2 to 1.7.3, but continued to get the same problem. This is a server which has been running without problems for months.
From looking at the log files, it seemed like the DVR was doing quite a lot of stuff with scheduled recordings, so, purely as guess work, I managed to get into Plex settings, and delete the DVR before it crashed.
That appears to have fixed my problem, although of course it means Plex won’t be recording anything. To be honest, that’s not too much of a problem for me as I find the whole DVR system cumbersome and unreliable. However, I’m posting here in case others get the same problem.
I’ll attach my logs in case it helps the devs diagnose the problem.
