Dvr channels get transcoding error when viewing remotely

Is anyone else having issues viewing live tv remotely? When on the LAN or by vpn it works but when viewing remotely I’m getting an unable to transcode error. Plex channels work remotely its just the channels I’ve created with ETV. I found a reddit post saying moving back to 1.40 fixes the issue but I would rather not.

Any ideas? streams coming in via MPEG-TS. I have tried adjusting all channel settings, codecs and bitrates but nothing helps.

Found out what fixed it. I enabled automatically adjust quality in the iOS app and it seemed to just work after that. Manually adjusting remote quality settings did nothing to help.
