I noticed since last night that when I press the button to select channel I get the unable to load channel mapping error. I get this on 2 Plex servers that I have. In the Plex server log Im seeing this: EPG[onconnect]: Failed to load EPG. Seems that either its bad Gracenote data or the servers that serve up the EPG data are having issues
I am getting EPG update failures again.

Is anyone else getting errors?
I am having EPG updating issues now!!!
I am also not able to add 2nd Tuner to DVR setup. Getting the āError communicating with providerā error as show in post by osbornm on Feb 28.
Please get this fixed ASAP!!!

Things have gotten worse. Before I was able to partially update the EPG. Now it fails at 0%.
In the logs there is

Iāve tried to see if there is some local CDN issues by switching the VPN to different regions, but the results are the same.
Iām in exactly the same boat and near enough no guide data at all. All āTo Be Announcedā and canāt even force a refresh it seems.
Same issue here, looks like the Gracenote EPG is not operational (despite the status page saying it is)
Same here. No guide data. Initializing fails at 0%. Log shows same message: EPG[onconnect]: Failed to load EPG.
Tried deleting DVR and reconfiguring. Did not help.
Tried updating to a newer release 1.15.6.1079-78232c603 which I found despite the console saying I had the latest version installed already. Did not help either.
In the same boat here, EPG has basically failed, looks like Gracenotes is down?
is there an alternative for UK TV?

Spoke too soon, channel line-up is laughable, looks like thereās a XML format issue.
Iām trying to setup Live TV and canāt get pass the Guide setup. Issue is probably related to this one.

Confirmed, working again. Shame I missed the BTCC racing because the dvr couldnt record today!
Yup, although mines gone back to ālive TV & DVRā on the menu (under recordings) instead of Guide and is back to the old grid not listing by channel?

EPG guide updated for me yesterday, 05/19/2019.
I was then able to add my 2nd network Tuner to DVR setup.

I only have a few hours of guide data and what data I do have I see dates instead of season/episode numbers.
I see that we are all having issues since Feb of this year and yet no one from Plex support has chimed in or even acknowledged that they know this is a problem. I really wish they had a different support model.
I finally switched to using Zap2XML on ALL my Plex servers. Havenāt had an update failure since. The Plex guide is just unreliable. Iād rather use the Plex guide, but not if I canāt be sure it will get current listings.
Oh look the EPG service has died again, thereās a surprise.
