Every time it tries to get guide data it fails at around 5% and then I can’t watch live TV or record anything.
Try again, we had some metadata issues that are resolved now.
I had the same issue, to resolve I removed both of my tuners and then re-added them. Guide data now fully loading
I’m pretty much running into this as well…none stop. DVR feature is basically broken. I have re-scanned my channels twice, run the EPG update 20 times, tried reinstalling a couple times. I’m on a NAS…no idea what else to do. It’s been working great for a couple months or so now. Then, nothing… I even changed my setting to say I’m on the Plex Pass Build.

I’m on a WD EX2 NAS and it had been running fine but a couple weeks ago the refreshing EPG got stuck at 2% and has not moved. It still records but the program guide never completes refreshing. Should I reboot the NAS (63 days since last re-boot)? Should I delete my tuner device and re-install? (Then I would have to set up my recording schedule all over again, right?)
Your schedules will not be deleted if you delete your DVR device(s) from [Settings > DVR]
I did this and did not have to rebook any of my requested recordings, plus it also fixed the EPG not loading issue.
We had a metadata provider issue yesterday that should be resolved now.
oh well…I got my DVR working by deleting it…but no live tv. This is on a NAS…guessing nothing for that. Think it’s just Windows and Android or something another…blah… but deleting fixed it!
NAS should work for DVR/Live TV.
IOS and Android TV are the only 2 clients we support currently though.
I’ve been having this problem the last 3 days. I keep trying to refresh manually, I have gotten as far as 26% before it dies, but I have never gotten a full guide. It seems a shame it doesn’t have some way to use the partial data, it seems like you have to get 100% or you have nothing at all.

My problem is I have run out of EPG data and after midnight tonight it has nothing scheduled to record even though I have like 100 programs scheduled. Even if it only got a day or two instead of two weeks, at least I could keep it limping along.
I updated mine to the most current version and I was able to pull the EPG data completely. I am on a Synology and I didn’t realize how far behind their package version was.
Guide works on mine now.
Ok so and update on this. Guide worked for about two days. It can’t consistently keep guide data. It will only record stuff for a day or so before it loses data. Works again for another day when I manually force it to download guide data.
I just wanted to throw in a me too. Even on a completely new install fresh, cannot get EPG data. Keeps stopping before finishing, usually less than 10%
