I’ve searched everywhere for this. Where are recordings save when using the DVR? On my computer drive? On an NAS?
Can I run Plex with just a computer and no NAS, and use the DVR?

They are saved in whichever folder location you have set for the libraries you created. If reocrind a movie it will record to movie library if recording a Tv show it will save to tv library
When you create a library you tell Plex which folder(s) you store that content in.

Sure you can run it on a PC. I ran it on my laptop when I was first trying out Plex. It will just write the recordings to your hard drive.
