DVR & Live TV playback on LG WebOS - Not Working

Hi all,

I’ve recently set up the DVR which has been successfully configured with plex, with all associated channels. I’m able to access Live DVR via the web or directly via the phone plex app but when trying to access via the plex app on my LG tv, I’m presented with a blank page and nothing appears. I’m unable to see the TV guide or any stations. I do have the early access app on my LG TV so wasn’t sure if this was the issue, everything else is running absolutely fine.

Too add to this, I’ve noticEd when accessing this via the Plex App on Amazon TV, when trying to access either the Live TV or TV guide, I simply get “Unable to connect to server” although working absolutely fine on IPhone Plex app or via web.

Is anyone having the same issue or know how to get around this?

Try opting out from the early access app on your LG TV… I also tried the early access version and it seems like there’s still lots of bugs with the DVR / Live TV functionality.

I’ll certainly give that a go for the time being & see if I have any luck reverting back.

I’m still getting the “Unable to connect” via the Plex app on amazon fire tv but again, I think this could also be a bug.
