There is no Live TV & DVR in the menu on the app on my LG TV
What version of the app are you running? This feature was added a while ago.

I have 2 nvidia shield TVs using one as a server which screams my local tv through a HDHomeRun to the other. I have now bought a LG tv with the Plex app on it which works with my TV/movie recordings
and photos but sign of the TV & DVR
im in the same boat. I have an LG, running 06.00.04 and no sign of Live TV and DVR. It shows up fine on every other device with that account except the LG, so Im betting its an LG implementation issue. Thing is, it used to work so not sure which update killed it, the LG OS or the Plex app.
