DVR messes up two-part episodes

When a two part episode of a series is also available as a feature length ep, the DVR only records the first part. It thinks it has done the feature length, and thinks the second part is a repeat so ignores it.

I have had this with Star Trek Voyager and Deep Space Nine, and now Yellowstone.

Is there a way to force Plex to use the 1 hour slot length version of episodes, so it does the second part?
