Guide shows the show has a NEW episode on Monday May 6th, but doesn’t show the recording in the schedule. DVR seems to have also missed the other new episodes of this new series since 15th April.
To get it to show in the Schedule, I had to switch from HD Only to Any and back to HD Only. Now it shows in the recording schedule to record on the HD Channel for Channel 4. Will attach Server Logs in-case they’re useful! Shame it missed the rest of the series so far.
This one show Plex has consistent issues with, in the past it has nearly always got the series / episode date wrong. Setting it to new & repeat showings and locking it to one channel normally sorts it, perhaps force an EPG update as well if it still doesn’t show up.
Channel 4 in general seems to have the most Plex issues for me, the HD tag doesn’t work as HD shows are listed as SD so I’ve just disabled the SD versions of all Channel 4 channels and it sometimes records 2 copies (records the +1 version as well). The latest issue is that Grand Designs - The Street is stuck trying to record a show in the past. Doesn’t matter how many times I delete the recording it always goes back to trying to record the showing a couple of days ago rather than the repeat on tomorrow night. Unless Plex has invented time travel I don’t see the logic in it trying to do that.
Yeah something isn’t right. When I select HD Channels, it also shows SD channels for me. It’s been discussed here and I’m hoping Plex is working on something as SD channels in the UK 100% aren’t HD. Not Recording on HD Channels
