Hello, I’m trying to figure out why Late Night with Steven Colbert on CBS has not been recording. It shows in the upcoming recording section of the home screen but not in the recording schedule. Can someone please have a look at the attach log files and let me know why this is happening. Show airs nightly around 11:30 on CBS Chanel 12.
I have the same issue. running version 1.13.1.5063 on debian
In the guide, show has been marked with a red dot that i will be recorded. If I go into recordings there are no entry for the show. Then the show will not be recorded.
Any idea ?
Is there any logs that can be checked ?
@mjensen999 your logs do not cover the time frame of when the recording would have started. Will need to pull logs earlier in order to capture the start/end of the recording.
Hello, I’m not clear on how to pull any other logs. The logs submitted came from Settings\server\help\Download Logs.
This does not offer any options to pull older logs.
Also worth noting that the log I submitted was generated around 7 AM today and the most recent missed recording would have been from ~11:30 PM so less than 8 hours earlier.
The logs you submitted are what is needed just need you to capture them earlier or you will need to change the number of log files saved. The logs provided cover the time period of 5/24 00:55:04.598 to 5/24 06:50:37.089

I would really need to see log entries before the recording would have started. If you can grab them earlier or if you are up late and notice the recording fails immediately after it tries to start, grab the logs at that time. If you need to increase the number of log files kept you will need to review the Plex Advanced, Hidden Server Settings support article. You will need to add the LogNumFiles value to your Windows Registry. I would suggest possibly setting the value to 10. If you add the registry entry please make sure you restart the computer so the added key is active. Simply adding the key does not make it active. Windows has to read the registry when it boots up.
