Don’t know if it’s because of the latest server update or not, but I’ve been recording The Voice on NBC all season and this week are the two finale episodes and Plex refuses to record either one. I’ve tried removing and re-adding the tuner, deleting the scheduled recording and re-adding it, and tried switching between “new airings” and “new and repeat airings”. Plex shows the series recording indicators on the guide but does not list these new episodes as being scheduled and there is no way to tell it to manually record them either that I can tell.
I am having a similar issue with my Plex. I cannot record if I use the option to record future events. This is pretty frustrating for football. I have to record each on manually when the pop up on the schedule. I’m running a docker on unRAID. Are you using Plex Media Server for Windows?
I’m on Linux, but I can’t even record manually. If I remove the automatic scheduling option and just click record for tonight’s episode, it instantly reverts back (to not recording). And if I schedule it automatically, it doesn’t get added to the list so there is literally no way for me to record tonight’s show.

Been recording The Voice on NBC without issue all season, but now its the finals it didn’t record last nights episode and refuses to record tonights either.
It will let me watch it live so the tuner etc is working perfectly.

The other thing I noticed is that none of my scheduled recording show as having future episodes even though the guide shows them tagged.
Very frustrating
I’m currently using NextPVR. It’s not as shiny and easy to use, but I never have to think about whether a recording happens. And it has far more advanced options, some of which I take advantage of. I simply share the recording folders out to Plex, and have a small script that tells Plex to crawl the folder upon completion of a recording.
I’ll probably try Channels eventually, too. It looks interesting, but as a commercial product they aren’t very OS-agnostic unfortunately.
