All of my recordings have been suffering from this problem. Last night an episode of The Mick didn’t record at all. If any further information is needed from me to aid in trouble shooting please let me know.
I have a similar issue. I’m recording a tv show that is transmitted on a first channel. The same show is replicated during the night and replicated again on a different channel (of the same tv provider).
In addition the replicas are shifted about two days…
The issue is that I’m almost unable to record the first on-air, and if I check “new air only” I’m unable to record at all.
Now Plex DVR sometime records the correct episode, sometime the wrong… that’s unusable.
Have you tried to enable the new air and replicas?

Plex DVR seems to hate CBS (for me) This is now the third week in a row that the DVR stops recording with about 6-8 minutes left in the episode. It has happened every time with Amazing Race on CBS. I am trying hard to keep the family happy with Plex but, 3 weeks in a row of the main thing we watch as family and wife is leading a revolt against plex now. It happens randomly on other shows but this one has been consistent. I am not sure how to get the logs but happy to provide. It isn’t as simple as it just stops and drops, the circle starts spinning like its trying to process and just keeps going and going then eventually it drops out of the show.
