DVR not recording

I have a HDHomeRun Connect. When I set the DVR to record most time is records partial show or not at all.

What log file is this? I do not recognize it as a Plex log file. This looks like it might he a Silicon Dust log file based on several entries in the file:

20171202-12:48:24 Recording: authorization error or not subscribed to dvr service

If this is a file from the Silicon Dust application and you are trying to utilize their DVR based on the log entry you might need to subscribe to their DVR service.

If you are wanting to use Plex DVR please post the full logs from Plex. Go to Settings/Server/Help and click on the download logs link. Upload Plex logs to this thread.

Looks like you had a successful recording the night of Nov 30:

I don’t know what time the show actually started since you did not provide full logs as requested. I do see that you are running 1.9.7. A new version was released this week 1.10.0 that addresses several recording issues. I would suggest updating to this beta version. If you are still having issues with recordings on the latest version please post full logs including the show you are having an issue with, what time it should have started, and when it was supposed to end.

Yes the successful recordings are far and few between. I’ll attached all logs from yesterday, there are quite a few.

When I click check for updates I show I’m up-to-date at Version 1.9.7.4460

You can switch the update channel from Public to Beta.

I switched to Beta and updated to version 1.10.0. The DVR failed again last night, recording a few minutes of a 60 minute broadcast with excellent reception. Specifically, what log tells you why it’s failing.
