A number of months ago DVR playback from the recording schedule started acting differently than it had in the past. Previously I could select a recording from the list and click the play button to watch the recording.
After a client update I no longer have a play button, but rather I have “watch channel”, “record” and “go to show” buttons, obviously none of which will directly play the recording. FWIW, “go to show” crashes the plex client app. My client in an Nvidia Shield, and I have uninstalled plex client updates and reinstalled the plex client which did not fix the problem.
Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this issue?
I installed the Plex client on my Samsung TV and it works fine there. Appears to be an issue with the shield client. I’ll add that my tuner is a HDHomeRun Prime, if that matters.
Are there any fixes for this issue I’m having with my Shields?
Deleted my DVR and recreated it, and this did not fix the problem. This is getting frustrating and makes me wonder why I pay for Plex Pass. Plex, do you have any answers to this issue?
