DVR playback issues on Roku

This is a recent issue, last couple of weeks. Live TV/DVR works great, and all other channels/recordings work fine. Trying to play a recording from NBC, it just sits on 33% buffering and stays there. If we open the same recording on an iPhone, a computer, etc., the recording plays just fine. After we do that, we then have 2 “recordings” of the same recording (2 items show up in the “keep playing” tray on the home screen of the Plex app). The original one, still gets stuck. The “new” one, will start playing normally, as expected. It’s also about 20 mins shorter than the original file, because it’s taken out the commercials. However, I do not have that feature turned on, to automatically detect the commercials. Super weird. Any thoughts?

I tested it this morning and have figured out the issue with playback, now I need to figure out how to re-produce the issue with livetv

Plex staff, can we get an acknowledgment that you’re aware of the situation with OTA Live TV not working? There are now more than 20 “reported” incidents and zero acknowledgment!

@_JOHN i have no idea what you are talking about? Live tv is working for almost everyone, there is an issue with ATSC-1.0 channels when using intel on windows which I have acknowledged and am working with users to rectify, even in this thread…

I’m not an engineer but when I roll back to it, both servers with OTA work again!

Every update since breaks OTA

how about the link i just posted? Also, there is a fix in 1.41.1.9057 with another in a soon to be released beta. I have posted fixed builds in a small handful of places but don’t have the bandwidth to post it everywhere.

Does Plex have a place where we can check for Known Issues for broken players or functions so we can read and not bother Plex with posts?

…tested on both severs and PlexMediaServer-1.41.1.9057-af5eaea7a-x86_64 BETA seems to be working fine with the OTA channels.
(Almost 10 minutes now with no issues on either server, seems to be fine.)
