DVR Plex Wake for recordings

My suggestion and don’t know if this has already been suggested but when I was using Kodi, I was able to set up recordings with NPVR as back-end and it didn’t require the PC which is on Windows10 to be on 24/7, as when recording was meant to start it was able to wake the PC from sleep/Hibernate automatically and then put it to sleep again when inactive for a period of time.

When switching to Plex sever with the tv tuner card connected (still on Windows OS) I’ve noticed that if I put the PC to sleep Plex is unable to wake the PC to record programmes set up in schedule.

I’m sure I’m not the only person who doesn’t like the idea of running my HTPC 24/7 so would like to know if a feature like Wake pc for recording and schedule sleep for inactivity built into Plex in the future or already in development.

Seeming as we have to pay for having DVR function for Plex and Kodi can do this without charging for the service, would assume Plex would have more DVR features being enabled.

I do not want to switch back to Kodi as I prefer the sorting function in Plex but can’t seem to justify the cost if I can get same features I need from a free source.

If this has already been implemented then a helpful guide would be great.
