dvr problems in which shows stopped getting recorded properly

I’ve been using the DVR for about a month now. Periodically, I’ve run into the issue where shows stopped getting recorded properly. What is displayed when you view recording schedule is the shows showing up with the red circle on them. E.g. this morning a show at 7am got recorded fine, but the next slated show (different one) at 1pm did not and got that circle with red center, as did all the shows following it.

Where are any logs kept that I might be able to view to see what could have happened?

My setup is a windows 10 box (NUC) with an attached ext HD which I am using for storage. In addition, I’ve setup a DVR_recording dir for the DVR stuff. I’m also using two HDHomeRun devices which are set to simply transcode the shows into mkv format.

For logs you can go to Settings/Server/Help and click the download logs button. Should probably ensure that you have to “Allow Plex Media Server token in logs” unchecked when you download the logs. Primary log to look in is the Plex Media Server log file.
