DVR puts Magnum P.I. in 1980 instead of 2018

Server Version#: 1.18.3.2129

PMS When recording the new Magnum P.I. show names the file with the 1980 date instead of the 2018 date, so any other server that indexes the media folder will match the wrong version of the show.

Interestingly enough the PMS where the DVR is shows the correct meta data (it’s just the file name that is wrong), so I’m guessing that there is a disconnect between what it decides to name the file and what it used to pull the meta data.

Date should be 2018, 1980.

The debug logs don’t show anything that might indicate why it thinks it should be one year or the other. Most of the logs don’t reference the year at all. Here’s some:

The feedback I have is that this has been corrected. However, I am unable to check as the series is not currently airing on the channel

Yes. It had the wrong file name for me as well, though on the recording server it showed the right show meta data.

It’s not enough to get the correct meta data on the recording server. The file name needs the correct information so other servers can get the correct metadata that doesn’t come from the program data.

Thank you. This has been referred again to our provider. The original fix appears to have only addressed the original air dates metadata for the episodes
