Since the last couple of updates, when recording shows it seems to drop the first one or 2 letters of the series name when finding or creating the folder name in the library.
Example should be " The FBI Files" but the folder created is “he FBI Files” or “e FBI Files”
Today it did all 3, the correct name for the first scheduled and then missing first character on second recording and missing 2 characters on the third recording.
Anyone know what has happened, it has worked OK for years.
My Version 1.31.2.6739 win10 64bit.

How is the file storage linked to the library? Are you adding a “naked” drive letter or do you include at least one folder?
Well, yes. All my files are on NAS and folders mapped to single drive letters.
But in all the years I’ve been using Plex Pass it has never been an issue. It just started this year, I think it was in January. I waited to see if after a couple of updates it would get back to normal. Not sure what changed, but consistent in dropping the first first character in the show name when making the folder. It then makes the season name and show name correctly.
So when it was right it was
T:\TV Shows\**The** FBI Files (1998)\Season 01\The FBI Files (1998) - S01E06 - Human Prey.ts
And now
T:\TV Shows\**he** FBI Files (1998)\Season 01\The FBI Files (1998) - S01E06 - Human Prey.ts
Bold type just for emphasis not actually in file path.
Since this started at first I did not even notice, Plex would still play the series correctly because the show name was right. I only noticed when checking my backups one day looking at the NAS in file explorer.
So not really a functionality problem, just an organizational issue. It may cause an issue one day not sure.
Currently, I just move the files where they should be and delete the miss named folders then rescan the TV Shows library and empty trash.

What I’d like to know is: what is added to the Plex library?
Is it just T: (incorrect)
or is it T:\TV Shows?
My library is set to “T:\” as it has been since DVR was added to Plex.
And on the PC running server the T drive is mapped to
\\192.168.xxx.xxx\TV Shows
All my folders are set this way, like M:\ is mapped to
\\192.168.xxx.xxx\Movies , N:\. is mapped \\192.168.xxx.xxx\Music
I read the guide and I see it may not be preferred, but they show closer to the bottom of the page using single folder for library.
I’m I now wrong after this years updates?

Yesterday there was an update available so I let it download and update server
New Version 1.31.2.6783
And after a day of scheduled DVR recordings, no issue with folder naming.
Keep my fingers crossed 
was running Version 1.31.2.6739 with the problem
all on win10 pro 64bit
