This just started yesterday. Show 100% Complete recording but no file for it in the DVR TV Grab folder and doesn’t show up in recently added TV.
On further investigation I find that the recordings are hung in the “Grab folder”. What would be causing this?
I just got everything setup on my machine and am experiencing the exact same issue.
Same thing happened to me. I have downgraded to v1.6 server which writes .ts files .mkv and all good again. Lots of people commenting on this issue in various forms.
Yep, you need to downgrade until this bug is addressed
Following up on this issue. I restarted Plex Media Server on my computer and all the files in the grab folder went away and it put the episodes in the recently added TV section. The files were corrupt and would not play, but it cleared all the shows in scheduled guide and all has worked perfectly since then. Go figure!
The 1.7.x versions of PMS appears to have broken DVR functionality, downgrading back to 1.6.1 resolves the problem but it does not include Live TV.

Has this been resolved? I decided to give Plex DVR another shot but none of my successful recordings are appearing in Recently Added. Running PMS in Linux Centos.
It’s issues like this that keeps me from going to lifetime. I should ask for a refund
