I am having an issue with the DVR Schedule. This list of shows it is showing is incomplete. It’s not showing shows that I know are going to air at a specific time because I see them in the guide. Show names have not changed as my XMLTV provider hasn’t changed.
Notice nothing scheduled for today through Wednesday. Also look to the right and see I have a show called The Five (2011) and it shows no upcoming airings.
The red dots in the guide indicate that the show is set for a series record ,it shows this on all episodes, this does not necessarily mean they will be recorded
The schedule is what will be recorded
For it to appear in the schedule it needs to fit any criteria you have set on the schedule (new etc) and also that the episode doesnt already exist in your library
So for your recording of The Five, make sure you dont have any other episodes of the same name in your library, it looks like Plex has classed this as a movie, so if you already have an item for a previous day called The Five, this one will get ignore as duplicate
I assume this is an episode and not a movie as it’s on a news channel, I am not in the US so not certain
It is a TV news show that occurs daily and is not a episodic TV show (drama or some such) or a movie. However your post got me to thinking. I deleted all prior recordings and the DVR schedule now shows, but only for today. So in digging further I have found the source of the issue - no episode numbers. That is coming from by XMLTV source and not from Plex. So now I’m off to find out why no episode numbers… Thanks
