THis is a newer issue. I have had DVR recordings working fine for some time but in the last few months things have gone bad.
Im able to manually record from the channel guide and shows appear just fine. Anything I have scheduled does not record… I did not have debug logging enabled so the only events I can find are the following…

since having to upgrade to Plex Media Server version 1.16.1 , my DVR is just broken.
I have a bunch of recordings scheduled, but Plex is simply ignoring them, as in it’s not highlighting them in recordings even though they are set - it;s like if you schedule a series but it’s not going to record a repeat or a non HD version.
Other issue is channels like PBS america have no programme listings, it just says “to be announced” and “Radio Programming”
All this used to work fine before having to change to 1.16.1.
Tried removing the DVR and re-installing it, re-align channels, etc but just the same, basically, the listing services is just not working the same way it used to before, not sure if it’s just semantic differences in programme names or a deeper problem?
I can’t be the only one with this problem? I’m managing a couple of Plex servers, one on Windows the other on Qnap, both have exactly the same issues (both also have HomeRun tuners),
I was able to start getting recordings again by deleting any previously shows. I suspect this may have to do with retention rules. Look at the screen cap you can see that this show shows “recorded” but there’s no play icon. This dialog ONLY appears (oddly) when the show doesnt actually exist but Plex thinks it was recorded.
