I thought I would take plunge and try live tv on plex. I purchased a Hauppauge win dual tv plugged in back of nvidia, had to use supplied usb extension due to tight space on the dual usb connections on back. i connected to nvidia server via pc and search for device under dvr setup (settings) the circle just kept going round and round etc I tried all sorts, I uninstalled my vpn, tried a powered usb hub, I tried Hauppauge direct in pc worked fine! I updated drivers etc. my plex is up to date and am a pass holder. the circle just keeps going round and round! I tried connecting via ip address immediately message appears problem with connecting to ip.
I feel like a right blonker but can’t work out why any help please please please

Odd. I have the exact same tuner and setup, and it worked without a hitch for me.

I am running 1.5.3.3580 media server. just wondering if anybody else has there’s plugged in a usb hub? is impossible to use this direct in usb port with adoptable storage in as well.
just wondering if it is the usb faulty, it does work direct in my pc. tried again this morning still the same this time in other usb port.
