I’ve got my newly purchased WinTV-dualHD plugged in to one of the USB ports on the back of the Shield (with an aerial cable plugged in) but it is not being picked up by the DVR Setup at all. The green light is showing, so it looks as though it’s powered. Shield TV is updated to the “SHIELD Experience Upgrade 5.2” so that shouldn’t be a problem. Plex is otherwise functioning as expected. Any ideas as to what I might be missing, or should be testing? Thanks!

What is the Plex Server version on your Shield TV?

Hmm… it is only 1.5.5.3634, which probably answers the question, but having tried to update the app on the Play Store, it’s just listed as “pending download” with a load of other updates. No amount of cancelling/redownloading will actually get the updates installed! Any ideas? I do realise this is now a totally different issue…

After some googling, I’ve tried to delete the cache, restart various services, and still no dice… :neutral:
Restart the shield itself yet? One of your pending updates is likely hanging the process.

On a computer, visit the Google Play store and force the server update to your Shield.
