DVR Setup fails after program guide selection

I’m unable to get DVB Setup completed (Plex 1.5.5.3634, HDHR4-2DT). After I’ve selected one of the proposed program guides, I see the final screen, where successful setup is reported, but I’m never able to actually click the button to open the program guide. Also the program guide never becomes available in the sidebar as promised:

In some screenshot I show, that I should be seeing progress bar for the program guide in that last screen, but I get nothing.

The last call my browser posts before that last screen is:

Is there any chance that all program guides available for me might have issues?

Resolved. The initial issue was a permission issue caused by my setup. Plex had not a write permission into a certain directory, which caused EPG setup to fail with internal server error.

The real remaining bug is that after the error happened and DVR setup failed, the device remained registered in Plex and Plex did not allow registering it again.

How did you solve the “real remaining bug”?

I have the same issue after reconfiguring plex to run as a service. Worked fine before, but when everything reinstalled to run as a service HDHomerun is not discovered, and after entering IP address and going through config steps as OP noted above, nothing happens…

I recall, I had to delete com.plexapp.plugins.library.db to allow Plex to register the same davice again (after the failed registration described above). Obviously, at your own risk. I don’t know what else does that db store.

@datakurre legend. Thank you for the prompt and accurate response. That fixed the issue. I just renamed the
Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases directory to force its recreation and HDHomerun was discovered again, and recording menu items appeared.
One side effect was that as expected I did have to recreate my library, but that was no big deal/
