Not sure what happened. I’ve not yet started watching this series. I noticed that the entire series is marked unavailable, yet each episode is there, and plays. I’ve verified this by playing each one for a few seconds.
What did I do? How do I fix this?
one or more of the epsiodes might have an unavailable copy, either due to updating with a different file or from moving things.
on each episode click on the menu on lower right of thumbnail and click Get info to see if any has multiple paths.
Going to that libraries menu and selecting Empty Trash should clean it up.
Do you see anything if you filter your TV shows library by “Trash?”
The libraries menu, empty trash fixed the issue.
However, the process that ended me up here remains to be fixed. I did nothing to the files on my own, and simply let Plex handle the DVR and placement process.
You can sometimes end up in this state if multiple library scans occur at the same time. For example, if a library is configured to scan when changes are detected and a scan is also triggered externally.
Interesting, and good to know.
