I’d like plex to convert acceptable versions based on what a client typically watches.
Is the user currently working through a TV show? Pre-convert the next few episodes when the server is idle.
They even have a backbone for something like this with Plex Sync. Just implement it for optimizing, too. I liked the original post to +1 vote.
