Dysfunctional home?

Hi all, new here and am having a rather frustrating issue.
I’m trying to add my wife to our “home” and can’t seem to close the deal. She has an existing Plex account, so she gets the email right away. She clicks the link in the email to accept the invitation and … that’s it. She’s able to access our server and watch/listen, through the app on her iPad, but when I check in the Users section on the server, she’s still listed as “pending” and thus can’t log in from our TV app, or use fast user switching. It’s been a couple days now and she’s still “pending”

Kind of a minor bummer, since everything else has been smooth as silk. Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem with trying to add my Mom to my server this weekend. I ended up logging into her account in a browser and there was some check mark next to my username that she wasn’t selecting. Worth a shot.

Is she pending as a friend? or a “My Home” user?
I only say this because I think she can be both

Let her accept the invitation by plex web site.

It may also help to restart your plex server and your Plex clients afterwards.

Sorry for the long delay… Yeah, having her go through the website to accept the invite did the trick.
