So I am tired of the clunky method I have to use to add things to a collection. I was trying to make a Christmas movies collection and I searched the word Christmas, why can’t I add items to a collection from this search view? Same for any other collection where you want to search for a keyword and assign them all to a collection. Right now I have to manually look through every single one of my movies in my library and select each one and then add it to a collection. It is very time consuming and annoying. I also wish we could add movies even if one at a time through the Roku or Amazon Fire app. I hate having to go to my computer and use the web interface to add a new movie to a collection. Is there another way to do this I just can’t figure out or is this the only way to add movies to a collection? I have been dealing with this for a few years now and been a plex pass member the whole time, haven’t seen any changes to this.
This may not be exactly what you want, but are you aware that you can select multiple movies, then add them to a collection in a single edit?
Yes I am aware and that is how I do it but it still takes forever to go through your entire library. Seems like it would be a simple UI fix I can add to playlist in search results but not collection…why?
Okay, well, I can’t answer your question, but I was hoping that might have made things easier.
