I stumbled across this issue when a video (4K (HEVC Main 10)) that I was partway through watching, failed to play when I came back to it. I ended up creating an exception for the C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Cache directory in Windows “Virus and Threat Detection Settings” under “Exclusions.” Why isn’t this exe file signed so that Windows will trust it?
