‘Email had already been taken’

Yes, another ‘Email had already been taken’ topic.

After several years not using Plex, I logged in using my Google account. Ordered Plex Pass and everything was working fine.

I wanted to change the e-mail (gmail) address in the settings into a more used mailaccount and found out this mailaccount was used by another Plex Account I ever created. Thereby I could not change it.

It was able to log in into this mail-account-login and decided to delete the enitre account.

Now I also cannot login into the Google account anymore :confounded: It says: “Email has already been taken.”

I’m confused. Also had to create a total new account to post on this form.
Hope a plex admin can help me out. Please let me know how/where to PM my usernames.

If it tells you this, then perhaps you clicked on Sign Up instead of Sign In.

What about not using the Google button and typing in the email address and password instead?

Tried several passwords, none are working.
Also the Forgot Password option is not sending any email to the gmail mailaccount.
