Trying to change my E-mail address for my account

Hi,
I recently had to change my E-mail address. I went to Plex.tv on the web and accidentally clicked on the Google login method. This looks like it created a new account (because my username and password indicates they are not set), but does have my subscription tied to it. When I click on login with Email and use my old E-mail address it has my username and password set. then I try to edit the E-mail address and it comes back with "that Email is being used. I then login to my gmail account and deleted it. then log back into my old email account and tried to change the email address to the gmail one. still tells me that email is already taken again. How can I fix that?

Apparently, the email address you use for Google is different from what you used to create your Plex account.
Because of that: yes, by signing in with Google you created a new Plex account.
And even after deleting it, the email address that was used by it is now marked as ‘in use’ for a few weeks.

I suggest you contact https://www.plex.tv/contact/?option=plex-pass-billing
They should be able to sort you out.
