Email has already been taken

Hello,

I deleted my account from plex, and when i tried to sign up as a new member (new username) with the same email address, i receive the error that email has already been taken or used...

 

I would like to keep my same email address, why is Plex site not completely deleting my account? why is Plex still holding to my email addres in their database?

There is a waiting period in case someone deletes their account by accident.  I'm not sure what needs to be done to clear this up.  Let me see if I can find someone to help.

Its been like this for 4 days.

It will be more easy if they send an email to confirm account deletion, as they did with the 1st time account acctivation

I have the same problem. I cannot believe they do not have a better solution!?

I found a better solution. I remove plex and install emby. It was an even easier install than plex and looks to work great without a need for internet login.
