In addition to the 3rd party options mentioned above, there’s a few related suggestions already discussing how to handle crashes and related communication/notifications.
When PMS crashes there is the ability to automatically upload the crash report which leads me to believe other actions could be done.
I like to see the ability to either notify the PMS Admin when PMS crashes or else have a script run. This would be after the crash report processing is finished.
Today when PMS crashes the only way I know is because the PLEX app on one of my devices can not connect to the PMS or if I go the the machine running PMS or the PLEX icon disappears from the Notificatio…
Can a notification be added in Plex app when the player device loses connection with the server? It would help me as my server randomly stops the Plex app. I’m sure other users would fine this useful as well. Thanks.
I would love to see notifications for server issues under though plex dash. Server crash server disconnected. Or a way for users to send notifications that there is an issues with a file on the server.
