When PMS crashes there is the ability to automatically upload the crash report which leads me to believe other actions could be done.
I like to see the ability to either notify the PMS Admin when PMS crashes or else have a script run. This would be after the crash report processing is finished.
Today when PMS crashes the only way I know is because the PLEX app on one of my devices can not connect to the PMS or if I go the the machine running PMS or the PLEX icon disappears from the Notification Area of the Taskbar (Windows 10) and it may be days before I notice the issue. In the mean time multiple recordings could be missed.
With the ability to execute a script, the PMS Admin could attempt an automated restart of PMS and/or script their own notification so the Admin has a chance to correct the issue before any recordings are missed.
