Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I moved my Plex server to my wife’s office because there, I can receive local channels to use the Live TV/DVR feature which I can’t at home because I live near mountains. Anyway, because her Internet is shared by others, I don’t have access to the router and its settings. Does anyone know any way I can enable Remote Access without getting into the router? (I doubt their IT guy will give me the username and password.) So far, I can connect indirectly with relay. Again, please forgive me if it is a dumb question. Changing my IP address from DHCP to static didn’t help.
