I have never tried enabling remote access on my Plex Server, but while trying to learn more about Remote Access today, I discovered that it cannot be enabled.
My configuration is that my ISP device provides an internal IP address. That device is in turn connected to my own EERO router which handles wired and wireless connection points. I have no issues accessing the Internet from any device that connects to the EERO.
Due to some ongoing stupidity from the Canadian CRTC, I have started using a VPN on the Macintosh that runs my Plex Media Server. That VPN is always connected. Does anyone know if this compromises the ability to set up Plex Remote?
