Currently I can’t skip tracks with the motion sense gestures like I could with many other music apps.
Does that work with other video apps? Plex is categorized as a video app, although it can play music.
Hmmm … I suppose not. It feels like this should be possible though as Plex technically does both so skipping musical tracks should behave like other music apps. The implementation of the play/pause/skip features in the Android notification tray I would have thought would have been connected with this feature.
You would think it would just work but, nope, Android treats video players different from audio players.
What about Plexamp? It isn’t being detected for Motion Sense purposes either
