at step “Using the Web app go into your account settings to turn on or off Podcasts for your account.” I already have problems following the KB article
I am in “Online Media Sources” but I just see the three options which are also described in the KB. I do not see any option to enable the podcasts feature.
I am using the default “Disabled for Managed Users”.
The next step in the KB says “The main podcast page can be found in the Web app on the bottom of the left sidebar under “Online Content”.” That is not the case for me.
Can someone elaborate? Could be me, could be the KB…

Visiting https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/account/online-media-sources has nothing about podcasts and the screenshot from plex KB also doesn’t show podcasts so I am still confused. Feels like I am missing something very obvious here.
@syncopation Apologies that Podcasts is not yet showing up for you, we are still in the process of rolling out Podcasts to our users, and it should be available for you soon. Please try again in an hour or so.
I have been listening to Podcasts for years on various apps and was one of the people who asked for it. I know it is in beta but having tried 6 different podcasts none will play??? I do not get the download option. If I press play on any of the says I could not retrieve from play queue??
I know it is beta but I thought playing would be running fine prior to release. Also, I do not see Podcasts in my Plex Web page or Media Server page???
I have it on my Plex app on my iPhone just not playing
Help me, please?
Seems strangely anti-climatic as a user to receive an email about an exciting new feature, only to find you don’t have it yet. Marketing maybe jumped the gun by a few hours on the mass email?

I definitely agree. I’ve quietly been hoping for podcast functionality in Plex. Checking my email, I immediately went to use the feature. I guess I’ll sit on my hands for an hour or so. ¯\(ツ)/¯
Update: I’ve got it on app.plex.tv/desktop, in the iOS app, and shows in the Roku channel. Would love to search for podcast by name, since I had to add some RSS feeds manually (example: couldn’t find Pod Save America easily, but I’m pretty sure it’s shown in one of the images from the email).
Podcasts is being launched as a stage rollout, meaning buckets of users get access at a time as engineering monitors for issues. Everyone should have access to podcasts over the next few hours.
Edit: Need to have “Online Media Sources” set to “Enabled” via the Web interface. Will not work on my own account when set to “Disabled for Managed Users,” (although “News” still works this way) which needs to be changed/fixed for those of us with users (i.e. children) that we want to protect from unrated content.
Had the same issue as OP this AM. Waited 'til mid-day, and then checked the Play Store (again) to find a pending update for the Plex mobile app. Updated the app, launched the app after the update, and now have a newer Plex app interface with “Podcasts” listed under “More.”

Never mind. Just had to open and close it a few times. Also popped into the web interface and accessed the Podcast tab there. No idea if that had any impact, but it’s there now
