Enter PLEX Cloud beta

A few weeks ago enter my data to access the Cloud Plex program but was not subscribed to PLEX Pass. Now I’ve already purchased my monthly plan and I tried to enter the PLEX contact Cloud. I am very interested in the service and I would like to know who I contact to give me access to the beta. Many thanks

I do not care all faults that may have the platform. I’m trying Plex in general and I would like to give feedback to help improve the service.

As do we all my friend. As you can read in multiple threads on this forum, many apply, few get chosen. Patience is the keyword. ~O)

Currently the Plex Cloud is FAR from ready for prime time. It is buggy and works correctly only on a small minority of Plex clients and many of us are having a difficulty (unrelated to Plex) uploading our content to the cloud. The only clients I have been able to get working OK is my Fire TV and, sometimes, the web interface. My Rokus, Shield TV, PMP on computers and my Raspberry Pi usually do not work or work poorly. But I do have to say that my Fire TV is rock solid with the Plex Cloud. It is good to find something that device does well.

The developer, and most of the actual Plex employs, have been at a general meeting somewhere (Rumor has it they are holding it in a folded layer of hyperspace to prevent leaks) so there has been no movement forward for the last week or so.

Hopefully, once the developer returns, some of the bugs will get worked out and many of the missing features will get included. Channels, index files, and many other features we are used to are not, yet, even included in the Plex Cloud.

The bottom line is, at this point, no one not in the beta is missing anything important and you are missing some headaches.

Will it be possible to use an own Plex instance with the Amazon Cloud?
