Program guide data is missing.
Refreshing EPG gets to maybe 40% sometimes other time it is less and sometimes fails immediately.
This started yesterday and has continued today.

I am having the same issue. I notice the Diagnostics folder has some json files in it regarding EPG. First one appeared at 2:12 AM Eastern today. The rest are from me trying to manually refresh. They all contain a message “Request forbidden by administrative rules.”
Both my Plex servers are also getting the following error:
{
“message”: “Request forbidden by administrative rules”,
“__type”: “CloudSearchException”
}
Is anyone from Plex looking at this issue? If not, how do we flag this to get them involved?
I changed my plex to public release and the program guide refreshed. I tried to do a manual refresh and it attempted to update, but the guide is still showing at least
Same problem here. Just started today. Although, it did finally update for Thursday. This rest of the week still shows EMPTY and suggests going to DVR settings and refreshing. It will not complete the refresh?
UPDATE
I noticed that successive attempts to refresh the guide would fail at higher and higher percentages if I waited a few minutes in between each attempt. Eventually the percentage complete reached 100% at which point the refresh of the guide data was successful. Now my guide data goes out two weeks.
When I had previously tried restarting Plex, it seemed the percentage complete went back down to 0%, after which I started realizing the percentage complete was increasing after each refresh attempt.
This is obviously not a fix. I don’t want to have check everyday to see if the guide data has disappeared and then go through this manual process to get it back.

I have this problem too.
Environment:
PMS 1.13.9.5456-ecd600442 on Windows 10 Pro.
Two HVR 22XX cards installed for a total of 4 tuners.
10 Channels enabled in for one tuner card; 11 Channels enabled in the other.
Problem Description:
No Guide data starting at 12pm 11/8. “Unknown Airing” displayed for all channels.
Guide data had previously been present past this time frame.
Refresh Guide in DVR settings fails at various percentage levels.

Restarting Plex server and rebooting computer has no effect.
I’m a new Plex Pass user… Is there no direct support from Plex?
Same issue here, the EPG no longer fully populates. I’m only guessing but it seems that the Plex &/or the EPG provider are now limiting updates to today plus the next 2 days. From a business perspective that might make sense if there are data costs involved. Regardless of the reason, if it’s the new normal then the Plex should announce the change in service.
It seems to be affecting more than just the plex media servers.
If you go to https://www.plex.tv/live-tv-dvr/ and enter your local info it fails.
It looks like the Plex web site can no longer access EPG data. Maybe someone didn’t pay the bills?
Just checked the guide again and some of the stations are no longer showing program data and no program data past saturday…Anyone know how to get info from support?
Also having this issue. Currently running 1.13.9.5456 on Linux (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS), but also tried downgrading to 1.13.8.5395, and 1.13.5.5332 which of course did not help (I only tried this because I just upgraded to 1.13.9.5456 yesterday and was suspicious of it being the cause).
I am also experiencing the slowly-increasing percentage of completion on subsequent attempts at refreshing the guide, however I have never made it past 85% without it going to back to failing after only 1% or 2%.
Earlier this afternoon I tried the advice from a different thread (before finding this one) of deleting my DVR and re-configuring it from scratch. It rapidly downloaded EPG data which only seems to go up to approximately 15:00 Saturday, but attempts at refreshing the guide are back to exhibiting the same symptoms as before. (At least now it’s recording tonight’s shows!)
Hoping to hear further details on this issue (as I’m sure many people are)…
Bought a lifetime Plex Pass yesterday specifically for the Live TV and DVR features. Feeling really ripped off since the features are completely dependent on the EPG loading and I usually can’t get past 15% or so. I don’t even have EPG completely for tonight, never mind for the rest of the week. Are these problems normal or am I just really unlucky with the timing of my purchase? Right now, to me, it just doesn’t work and I’m considering going back to the freebie WinTV program that came with my TV card since it actually works – admittedly, you record by channel and time – but it works.
I just clicked on a program to record tonight in the guide and it’s not scheduled to record. If I click it again, I just get an error. There are big problems with the Live TV and DVR side of the program.
